The unique design of the patented SCS3 system offers unsurpassed control and stability and prevents the boot from slipping forward in the irons.  SCS3 is a unique pattern incorporated into the sole of the boot and into the SCS3 stirrup pad.  When these patterns match up, support and stability are increased, particularly when jumping, when the foot has a tendency to slide forward or back or to come right out of the iron altogether.  Riders can choose from several different positions in the iron that suit their individual riding style.  Mountain Horse footwear, equipped with the SCS3 sole, can be used with most other stirrups and stirrup pads on the market.
